The concept of this mock data case study is to understand the psychology behind technology through the usage of social media. And gradually as data is compiled by this behavior, a mock “company data analysis” packet is created for the chosen restaurant: Pink Mamma. This data analysis is a process of applying statistical practices to organize, describe, evaluate, and interpret Pink Mamma’s company analytics which will help them tailor their dining experiences to meet transcend the standards of their clientele.
Ultimately, the output goal of this project is to understand how our personal information is being monetized from big data collectors like Wiland Services, Google, IBM, SAP, etc (and in this case, “Karadata”) and how any resources we use or partake in, we continuously forfeit a piece of our identity. Therefore, this packet highlights the simplicity of tracking down each customer’s unique social media profile.
